Our Story
A different kind of practice begins with a different kind of practitioner.
Anthony Guidotti, DO, LMT is a family medicine resident-physician, a licensed massage therapist, and a lifelong martial artist.
Anthony grew up in the martial arts and holds third-degree black belts in two styles. He continues to train in Taiji (Tai Chi) and has over 20 years of teaching experience. That background shaped how he understands the body. He studied how the body organizes itself under pressure, how patterns form, and how to work a person through their restriction.
From an early age he was drawn to the Eastern dimensions of those practices. He sought out mentors in Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and by 2013 he was offering energy work to clients. He found a particular affinity for supporting people working through depression, anxiety, PTSD, fatigue, and burnout.
That work eventually led him to Costa Rica, where he trained to be licensed massage therapist at The Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy. Over the years, he has studied with a wide range of mentors, each contributing to how he approaches the body and the person as a whole.
Anthony’s desire to understand led him to apply and be accepted to medical school. He enrolled at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine in Boise, Idaho where he earned his medical degree. He is now a resident-physician at Tower Health in Reading, Pennsylvania, practicing family medicine and working toward a sports medicine fellowship.
Outside of the hospital and his treatment room, Anthony can be found summiting a mountain, backpacking abroad, or training in a martial arts studio.
